HOW TO USE THE LIBRARY

Use the teaching as a mirror before using it as a map.

01

Read for understanding.

Read the biblical argument before jumping to the questions. Notice what the text actually says, what the teaching infers, and what guardrails are included.

02

Apply it to yourself first.

Ask where Christ is calling you to truth, repentance, wisdom, service, boundaries, or changed behavior before diagnosing your spouse.

03

Discuss one section at a time.

Use the reflection questions for prayer, couple conversation, discipleship, or counseling preparation rather than trying to resolve an entire marriage in one sitting.

Truth and safety belong together.

These resources are designed for relationships operating in relative good faith. They should never be used to minimize violence, threats, coercive control, sexual violation, child endangerment, criminal conduct, or serious danger. In those situations, safety and qualified outside help come before ordinary communication exercises.

NEED MORE THAN A RESOURCE?

You do not have to work through every marriage problem alone.

If a teaching raises questions your marriage cannot resolve on its own, request care from The Whitby Foundation. Our goal is not to replace the local church or qualified professional care, but to help couples take a faithful next step.
